The "edge" mellows out overtime but its not without reason so it doesn't really bother you as much as others. He is pissed yes, but not without cause. There isn't even a misunderstanding apart form this initial one which is corrected almost immidiately by the guild master but the damage is done and its not the only thing that he was enduring.

This was like an eventuality, a tipping point for him to completely face the fact that he is abondoned by her/them because he is(was) weak and was being treated shitty for a very long time. He is not wrong in that regard. Now that he is strong, they have no right to cry "let bygones be bygones".

He will continue to be a very stand up guy. He just won't take any companions if he can help it and go at it solo because his trust in friends is irreparably damaged because of the way he was treated. Him achiving everything solo is literally the overall premise of the story so i don't think it will change anytime soon.

Yes, that's right. He'll stay like this for a very long time. He'll go on a joint mission with the girl's team, but that won't make the relationship improve because he doesn't see them as friends anymore, just fellow adventurers, and they also see him the same way.
The teamwork really begins after Eclipse joins in. This girl is the one who makes a real difference in the progression of the story. She is arguably the best girl ever.

IMO It's the comparison of how the author write Hyce and Sasha, Hyce is a stand-up guy, yes, he doesn't take shit from people anymore and Sasha is the honest straightforward type, but, the issue with the author is that, sometimes, the author make Hyce have so many internal conflict but at the same time, author write Sasha and her friends enjoying their vacation

it becomes apparent in one of the arc where Hyce is legit being torn apart when he failed to save someone and literally at the same arc within the same chapter, Sasha is having fun

which i have to add on this because of this context, current manga chapter, one of Hyce line is missing "i will become an adventurer that won't abadon the weak" when he shout at Sasha

tl;dr Author is strangely rough on Hyce, feels like mental torture sometimes in certain arc

also btw, i had to add this, aside from Sasha lashing out because of Hyce not getting stronger and her stress, it's only Piazolla being a bitch with Hyce, other companion actually doesn't treat him badly when he was weak and still in Sacred
Reynold is in on it of Hyce leaving only because he likes Sasha, not because he hate Hyce

this story ability, after they awaken, the body will morph to suit the ability, also Hyce was anger fueled in the novel description of the scene, he's high on adrenaline, and he drag the dragon head back to show it off that he's not useless as prove he's not bluffing

I don't know MC logic is ridiculous or not, i've seen it as completely reasonable at this point
He's was banished by his childhood friend whom he trusted the most, just because he's weak even though they promise to go on adventure together.
Out of nowhere that person who banish him, give him wrong info that nearly cost him his life, if he doesn't awaken his power it's almost certain that he meet his death, combine with many rumor whispering so many people look at MC with negative look, disillusioned with that no wonder he accuse his childhood friend trying to get rid of him by giving him wrong info

i already read the novel up to chapter 200+ (with help of mtl ofc, but it still really helps and you can tell what's going if you know how mtl bad translation works + audio helps)

i'm just gonna say this, the story is quite interesting, but some part are rough to read in the beginning parts and i don't mean the mtl

the payoff is quite nice though, i can spoil some parts if some people want to know what will happen

the party is after hijiri causing problems, and yes, hyce attended, since it was Robin request, which is the one member that never agreed on banishing him at all, and always have good relationship with Hyce without any issue at all

bro, i skimmed through his messages on previous chapters, so i didn't know he's talking out of his ass, it was only when this chapter is up i found out when he rant about Sasha

it's like, i have never been against anyone opinion about a story they read, since each of their own, but when the "opinion" he made isn't even based of what the author actually wrote, i'm like "???" and tried to correct him only to found out that it's pointless, but hey, at least some people enjoyed the beef, it's not really that much of a time waste if people got entertained from it

I've seen another manga that it's basically the same and there the fmc also lacked the most basic level of communication skills and her relationship with the childhood friend mmc also broke apart because instead of talking like actual normal human beings, she also preferred to just kick him from the party thinking that she was "protecting" him but instead she just caused more damage to him... I hope that at least this manga makes her and her party likable because that other manga I just hoped for the fmc and her team to just die and she was the primary main character, it was that bad...
