I was talking about not being in a relationship with a girl because of her past, not being sex friends. Like I wrote in an earlier post, casual sex isn't really my thing because I think it's an false dichotomy between love and intimacy. everyone's talking about sasha, but fujiwara's "righteousness(?)" is too much that it's making me appreciate the manga (to at least not drop it when the sasha reveal dropped). not only did he try to avoid her (because i can imagine how much it hurts for him, and that avoiding her is probably the best way to not get hurt anymore), but he tries to find a way to not get her to fuck around (literally) anymore. and at the same time, he doesn't wanna try to do the latter because he knows his motives aren't purely to protect sasha, but possibly due to jealousy. makes him realistic and non-realistic at the same time imo

What? Sure, the manga isn’t topping Oricon, but not only did volume 4 tracked past any kind of axe danger, more importantly, this manga has consistently ranked in the top 3 for the magazine’s popularity.

It could easily last a few more volumes, depending on how much Haguhagu wants to continue.

I understand people being totally turned off by this development and dropping it, but I still can't grasp the whole 'NTR' talk like it's bound to happen when the chapter made very clear that her liking of protagonist is what make her not wanting to bang other guys, plus the line that she would accept his suggestions if he was actually dating her. I feel like this manga is in the weird spot where people acted like it was 100% wholesome when it wasn't tho it was still safe enough, and while the degeneracy definitely spiked it these last few chapters it wasn't a 0 to 100 but more like a 20 to 60, very meaningful jump but hardly the end of the world type of thing.

The only time it ranked on weekly was the first volume, and then it ranked at 240 with about 2920 sales. Later volumes haven't sold enough to reach the weekly rankings. Comic-walker popularity doesn't really matter at that much, the Reptile girl manga I worked also ranked fairly well on comic-walker and nico nico seiga and still got axed because of low sales.
