Tbh the chat isn't really a proof, especially since the chat to me feels like just a close friend chat which is understandable since they both share favorite artist and the husband is social charmer especially to women.
I suspect its a red herring.
It's I think the most common pincode there is b/c folks will remember it.but feels like a b-day one would be too obvious lol
They're good at writing open ended - him cheating and not cheating is equally plausible, as is it being any or none of the friends, and it doesn't even matter much cause the real story is the very sad state of Mahoro's relationships/life.Author is pretty damn clever is all I will say

I want to say he is, but not with any of the Mc friends, instead it was them three that planted the original note as they saw him cheating, but don't have the evidence to move.I'm going to assume hes not cheating (yet), hes getting poor advice from the friends, and the accusation is meant to have her realize how bad a husband he is under the shit advice they've given and make her push him away herself. Its possible one or more actually want to be with him, but it could be they dislike him and just want her free.
