This was a little epilogue chapter posted after the main series and the spin-off were over, for context.

It's good to see that, even multiple months after the divorce, Mahoro did not start dating Haruto and instead prioritized settling down and stabilizing her life, as she should.

I'm sure they'll get together eventually. Girl was thirsting for that takoyaki.

I don't know if I'll do another manga about cheating or not in the future (well, technically, I'm already working on one called Inside the Dregs, but the cheating in that one is only one element and not the focus), but if I find another josei manga with a compelling narrative I might hop on it. I feel weird about the relationship between Mahoro and Haruto. I mean, Mahoro just got over a brutal relationship with Rei (one that she didn't realise she hated until after she suspected him of cheating on her). It feels way too rushed for her to be so romantically involved with another person so soon.
