It's possible that Jelly retracted all of her splits when Leon showed up for fear of them being detected, and since she DID just have a divine experience, she ACTUALLY just reads as a saint now--some kind of...Slime Saint.

Dandelion root can be used for brewing a drink that is... also desiring in taste.

Did I miss something? I figured slime was immortal, barring having its core destroyed. Or did the assassin just get a lucky shot and hit the core?
I just got caught up, so asking late here.

It's not clear. A human form might give her some more weaknesses, but as she seems to be the Goddess' chosen one, she beat Jesus and Gandalf's respawn times, though she doesn't know her mission.

thank for the chapter! leaving aside about leon's ability in detecting monsters, right now, i am more interested in how will the assassin be able to find an opportunity in keeping leon away from jelly, now that he was able to confirm that jelly is now being guarded by someone who is dangerous. i am also curious of what the assasin thinks, like is he aware of who leon is, and about how jelly kept quiet about what happened inside the chapel. because normally in this situation, they would think that the reason jelly now has a strong bodyguard is because she reported the previous incident. .

Somany questions that having the hero be introduced open.

Does he only detect evil? Evil mosters specifically? Does the slime taking over a corpse turn her into a hybrid monster-human and is therefore not detected? Does the slime inherit the saint attribute and that overrides the monster attribute?

What about the couple dozen splits she had made to keep watch around her room/the mansion? Hero can clearly sense monsters that tiny so why hasn't he found the aplits she left? Are the splits also tiny little saints? Did the goddess intervene and made jelly something special? No way she can hide her slime nature from the goddess she is a saint of!


Aaah this new character can make for A LOT of really cool interesting developments!

I was wondering if her divine powers are making it impossible to detect her faint monster origins because im sure slimes dont have much of a presence to begin with.

I’ve heard of kids that’d eat paper not just dirt and glue, had a classmate that’d chew on? (Or just have it In her mouth) like a soda tab or something similar in class but it was sharp and cut her at some point I think

I'm guessing that her slime self has bonded so much with her human body that the fate of the two are tied now.

If slime Jelly dies, her human body dies. But now, if her human body dies, likely the shock of it will kill her slime self

Or perhaps there is no difference anymore between slime and human. They are now one singular being
