Alright, why the fuck you you use a book like that to store anything? Firstly, use a backpack with an extra hidden pocket or something. Secondly, it looks insanely sketchy, and if anyvody saw it then they would report you or something. Lastly, if that book is super important, then why would you cut a hole in the book to store the guns in? I thought the book was important, but now it has pages missing and it cant even be read anymore. A books sole purpose in life is to hold words so that it can be read by someone else, so why would you carve it!?!

@Hoomanadaw Where do you live if someone having a book is so sketchy you would report it? In any case, hollow books are a traditional way of hiding stuff, usually a bottle of booze. While I do agree on an English-Japanese dictionary being a whole lot better for the purpose, the particular book he does have would only make people think he's some edgelord otaku. A dictionary looking book he could even take to school with him, whereas that weird book could be potentially confiscated by a teacher.
