Glad this is still going and nice that Zabine pulled off a not so conventional way of getting the commoners really involved.
Zabine is a cool girl but if she will shoot for Faust, she still has the 1st princess and the duchess to contend with

in reality... these 40 peasants will be wiped out or only a few of them will survive especially with an injured, really injured peasant commander, but welp this is a manga so... zabine stepped out way too far here and i don't like it, i understand she was trying to rile them up so they will fight but there are better ways to do that, insulting them and telling them they're nothing but corpses might bury them deeper into helplessness then depression, she gambled, she won this time but there are better ways to handle it... valerie is too incompetent at this point but that makes her growth be worth anticipating for...

lol the entire purpose of this chapter is laid out in the title. Zabine has abandoned her noblesse oblige. Her rallying speech in the WN is a lot less vulgar and a little more repetitive though. Zabine's speech is almost the entirety of chapter 12 in the WN so it's to be expected we'd get a whole chapter here for her instigation.

I know you guys aren't exactly artists so it's to be expected, but it's still pretty fascinating to see just how overvalued polish or detail is. Frankly I liked the art in this chapter more than in the last two, since it was rougher and more emotive.

Same. i can agree with others that say the art wasn't that polished this chapter, but FUCK if the artist didn't try to at least instill as much emotion into each of them as they could.

No idea if everyone else is reading this purely to crank one out, because I LOVED the shit out of this chapter. Yes I like the almost pornographic stuff, but with how they're setting the fights they go through as something serious, and the politics and personal dilemmas as something with gravitas on how the characters' story moves along (remember this entire thing is happening because the Queen didn't want to make the second princess have any actual accomplishments that might get her in conflict with the first princess for the succession of the throne, and the princess going along with it since she would lose the one person that has given her any semblance of confidence in her capacity for agency otherwise, to not talk about Polidoro's entire backstory in this world), selling me the world and the characters as something actually cohesive, even with circumstances being so ridiculous, is nice.

I don't get why people doesn't understand Zabine's brilliance here. She rounded up demoralized serfs and turn them to militias with mere words, read the dialogue carefully and you can see that the knights themselves are stuck with their condition. Zabine's crude jokes are used to rise up morale, better be laughing at something than being desperate; heck, anything productive is better than wallowing in misery.

So far they got a few militias, how they use them is up to debate so I will wait future chapters.

Also yeah, art kinda devolved here but I have read enough materials to disregard them.

Peasants with high morale. They can stand in formation without routing. That's more than enough. If the tactics are good and they aren't too outnumbered, things might turn out well for most of them.
