I kinda understand why some people are salty about Amanda, her first appearance is recent and ever since she is just stalking Fran, being extremely clingy. Her clinginess is so repeated that, at some point, every panel with her was simply wasted for me, simply skipped and that's it. More than that, she forced so much that, if not for the sword saying she didn't lie, I thought the "Mama's moment" extremely fake.

In retrospect, the Horned dude who scolded Fran after she fought with the Demon seemed much more truly affectionate in just one panel. Maybe if what happened in this chapter was dissolved in the next ones, or Fran with knowing Amanda's story before, it would feel more organic. :v
