Pretty normal for elves to have no sex drive in fantasy, if they did they would outnumber humans 10 to 1.

I think having Wynn hear about Aesir's exploits in the east would be enough to get some inspiration.

Going to the deep woods would be dealing with some very fundamental forces that nobody has thought to touch for centuries, so it's not like MC is wrong for prioritizing it. That said, the whole context of magic gear might be an important issue to work together on.

Maybe, maybe not.

Probably a mix between not wanting to get into a relationship with someone who will die in a relatively short time, and not wanting to get with someone who worships him as a higher being. Humans are the former, and many elves are the latter. Also, considering his wanderlust, he'd probably avoid most of the other high elves who do nothing but live in their idyllic forest all their lives. Not sure what type of person he'd have to meet that he could spend a lifetime with and treat as an equal.

If they're only on the central continent, I guess it wouldn't be wrong to say that the western continent is probably full of those human supremacists. That's the only way I'd see it having such a foothold in the western part of the central continent. And the elven caravan is probably a big target for them, but hopefully it won't come to that.

i take it as a race thing. they live too long, have more time, less drive

If it was in a modernized setting, for sure. With the snail mail, wagon & his wanderlust though, by the time he receives critical news that it must be dealt with + actually getting there from the other side of the continent, both the perpetrators & the victims would have died off of old age.

God this one is still so peak. Every chapter has a lot of progress and the themes of sensing time on an entirely different scale and the ongoing geopolitical affairs has been great.

That being said I cannot wait until he eventually visits the west. It won’t be for a long time but when he does make his way there, it will be such a solid arc.
