Surprised so many people liked these chapters because for me they emphasized how Rentarou is the weakest link of the polycule. He gets 20x more scenes than any other character and yet only in one of them between both chapters is the joke about some aspect of him rather than him just being there so a girl can do something cute (his reaction to Yamame carrying him). He's not completely without agency, just without any active contributions to the manga being entertaining except the Yamame scene, every other funny scene the girl is carrying it 100% imo.

Kishika is definitely one of the most well written one among the one who came in late. The second might be tama.

I feel disappointed with hakari because it's like its what she only do being a thirsty pervert. That trait is already done by the others. It's not unique to her anymore

Not really? Rentarou is already universally considered one of the main appeals of 100 girlfriends and easily carries chapters by himself, so I don't relate to your notion. It's not like we completely don't get moments where he is vulnerable and humane, exploring his character and relationship with them deeper, particularly in solo dates. People loved this two chapters because usually it's Ren always doing something crazy and proactive for the girls and here we finally get to see in-length Rentarou just being a chill recipient of their love and girls showcasing affection in their individual ways, which is refreshing - that's what people wanted to see, particularly for some newer gf that prior didn't not get a lot of chances to get flirty with him.

I didn't? If you read my whole reply, it was about how I am surprised that "you are surprised by people liking it", because imo the reasoning was quite obvious, which I elaborated in rest of the comment. It was in no way denying your personal opinion but explaining what me and other people saw in this types of chapters and how people don't see it your way. No intention to shame you, I guess sorry it came out sounding that way, it was meant to explain different perspective.

Momiji is quite the active movie watcher, she has to always be doing something to relax, makes sense given her proclivities. Momoha got what she deserved in the end, all those naughty thoughts were fueled by booze and put to rest with the same booze. Mimimi it isn’t so much about you being embarrassed or ashamed to be seen, it’s more about how Rentarou feels being anything other than wholesome. Nano you’re starting to get it, what you see in Rentarou physically that attracts you to him, is the same way others see you.

Chiyo is quite the motherly figure, even more so than Hahari, considering Hahari is so consumed by her vices I suppose someone like Chiyo who keeps everything in order portrays being a mother a lot better. Now granted Hahari was a different kind of person before meeting Rentarou, and the way she used to be was more motherly so I guess she’s just all of nothing on that front. Matsuri is the physical embodiment of “gap moe” and I want to see her dress like a witch, or Hagrid, Hagrid is good too. Naddy can deal it but can’t take it, she got her battleship sunk.

Mai and Karane are both two different types of tsunderes, but in the end they’re both the same when it comes right down to it. Karane is always hiding her more spicy side, Hakari is usually the one who brings it out, though when alone with Rentarou I suppose it comes out all on it’s own. Suu could probably give Nano a run for her money in the rng department, I wonder who would fold first in a numbers battle.

Considering how big a fan of RE Rin is, I wonder what her opinion is on the new series direction. Rentarou is only capable of seeing everyone as pure innocent ladies isn’t he? Kishika - master of the kabedon! Mei is slowly starting to learn what it means to have wants and needs, I was shocked when she asked for something, that’s rather rare. I know Rentarou was the one with the title “Love Mountain” in the wrestling chapters, but Yamame fits the bill to a T.

Still can’t get over Karane sniffing his jacket, that’s some Hakari level horny right there.
