People really can't see the fact that every time we got a visual of that guy behind Anna from the side, there's at least a little space between her and him. And Kyo acted quickly to get in between before anything happened.
Also, pretty sure the guy was designed to look vaguely like an older version of Nanjou, who may well have been based on that trope in the first place, but whatever. It's just discount adult pickup-pai.
And yeah, love Kyo trying to point out he's not comfortable with touching Anna without permission, but has no issues with Anna touching him whenever she feels like it. Because he's a gentleman, sure, but also still overly conscious about that stuff.
I know when I was with my ex, I wasn't really concerned with that shit, for the most part. But, then again, I remembered mildly groping her chest at one point before we officially got together, anyway (basically just rubbed at them through her coat and clothes- I was hugging her while riding back to her dorm in my bro-in-law's Saturn Vue, and kind of just doing a very slight back-and-forth caress where my hands rested on them, partly for warmth because it was pretty cold), and later being told she actually found it kinda nice, so that kinda melted the propriety barrier in that respect. Also we had a make-out session in a hotel room during an anime con that led to us choosing to start dating properly.
Anyway, yeah, he's gotta say it, finally. Tell Kana they're together, like actually together.
Also... were these guys singing an actual Chili Peppers song? Like maybe Under the Bridge? The lyrics in the song bubbles felt familiar.
