Lol so either way original Pryde is doomed

Predicted scenario 1: Treat both princess, Pryde is a bad queen
Story main scenario 2: Leave Pryde, she turns to a psychotic vile queen

Had to get another soul to balance her evilness. Pryde is a b so I want to praise our Mc from the different world for taking the burden (Good thing only the body, not their souls being merged and getting that vile personality)

EDIT: wow just realized after reading the comments, the mother f'ed up by going to the experimental route, can't deny she terrible though, why not just stop spoiling and thoroughly instill values to her instead of the whole thing (easier said than done though)

I will predict the queen will treat pryde better which will put pryde on guard and the queen realises that you cant just neglect a child and then suddenly act like a parent

I really hope it will be at least a bit complicated for the queen to be close to Pryde and that she will regret how she treated her in the past. It's nice that they explained a bit why she treated her like that but it wouldn't mean much if they just become a normal family overnight.

Ah, so Gilbert wasn't actually being an arse because he was sheming something very bad but rather because his sister the queen has seen things from the original storyline and he was using her sights as a foundation on paving a path to making it easier to get Tiara on the throne according to the queens will...
Doesn't really make it better.
I mean they were planning to announce to someone with the known capacity to turn evil that the reason she wasn't able to meet her mother for years was because said mother was busy raising her little sister...

Bro WTF because you saw that she would become a terrible person you f#cking treat her like one?? That makes it worse like dafuq is your way of thinking?? I guess, yeah, Pryde was a spoiled brat but you still could've taught her right from wrong and etc.... SMH
Also the uncle spreading bad rumors about her only makes her act out more like what???

Thank you for the update!!

Actually, it's not that pryde got another soul, it's that pryde "remembered" her past life, so in a way it is a soul merger, before her memories returned she was a spoiled brat of a child, not a good kid, but she didn't get really bad until her dad, who was the only one who did support her (because look at mom of the year over here) died, it's something pryde herself mentions in the first chapter i think, had her father lived her life and actions might have taken a much different course.

EDIT: also to make more my thoughts on precognition, precognition isn't meant to set the future in stone, it's to prevent or cause something to happen, mom ignoring her daughter was literally causing her daughter to turn out like that, essentially becoming a self fulfilling prophecy.

The classic self-fulfilling prophecy. Thank god for the reincarnation, I guess.

>Mom used to spoiled her too much
>Mom foresaw her daugher would be a tyrant
>Mom neglected her and hadn't seen her in years
>Actually become a tyrant

@piapple Self fulfilling prophecies are a common trope in media. It's incredibly frustrating when you think about how hearing a prophecy causes an action to take place which in turn makes the prophecy come true. If the prophecy was never foretold the events leading to the realization of the prophecy would have never occurred.

Lousy writing. WHAT THE HELL?! She says she loves her but judges her so?! A mother who loves her daughter will always give her a chance and give her child benefit of the doubt. Such hypocrisy and plasticity. I wouldn’t doubt it if the writer suddenly tells that she is adopted or she’s not her real daughter. Making her mother hate her and some guys be spiteful of her just to make her standout.

Maybe I’m giving the queen too much of the benefit of the doubt here, but isn’t it possible she foresaw all possibilities relating to Pryde? She foresaw spoiling Pryde leads to her becoming a tyrant. She foresaw neglecting her to lead to the same thing. She also foresaw trying to be a strict parent teaching her morals and values leading to the same thing. She saw that all roads no matter what she does lead to Pryde becoming a terrible queen, so she decided to focus on Tiara instead.

What she didn’t foresee was someone getting isekai’ed into Pryde’s body, causing all previous visions to become obsolete. :p

Of course, this is just pure speculation and the queen could’ve only seen visions of Pryde becoming a tyrant after being spoiled as a child. It’s like she only knows of two parenting styles: spoiling and loving her child wholeheartedly or completely neglecting them altogether. Does she not know how to parent somewhere in between or would that also lead to Pryde becoming a tyrant? ~_^

I understand where the queen comes from, but as a mother she is a fucking failure. I kinda wish for her to suffer a bit more before recognizing how truly retarded she has been. Pryde is lucky that her father has always favored her.

@Dreiks Gilbert was obviously scheming something from how he made a point of commenting on how "the entire royal family is here" when the queen and prince consort were supposed to be dead.
I don't expect subtlety from a series that has the protagonist conflate the occurrence of things that have been planned for a long time with "the will of the game" or whatever.

@Dreiks Gilbert was being an arse because
he has a bad impression of Pryde based on her previous behaviour. He found her bratty, selfish, stuck up and thus unfit to become the next ruler (esp. since he takes his job seriously and built his career from the bottom up - he started as a poor commoner).
