Why doesn't she tell the fairies to make it so, that whenever the king and the high priest or pope or whatever enters a room all lights are extinguished. Water stops to flow, no circulation of the air or even to much wind. Everything to make it bluntly obvious, they invoked the spirits wrath. And if they don't leave the castle or church anymore, let that happen to the whole building and the buildings next to it. Especially the absurd circumstance, that fire can't be lit and goes out, wherever they go, will make the people get rid of them.
