Umm... feels like the rest of the story is missing... No conclusion. argh. This should've been longer. Not sure if the writer/artist ran out of space (in which case they should've paced the story differently) or just wanted to tell this as it is (in which case this is just lazy storytelling, teasing us that Rium has a plan and a trial for the prince and the sister, then we see the sister's smirk and then Rium is like "bring it on" and then... nothing. The only explanation is that the writer didn't make an effort to come up with a tangible idea. Which is, essentially, lazy storytelling.)

Anyway, thank you for the chapter, it was nice while it lasted :'D

I felt this is one of the best chapters yet. The villainess is brilliant and understanding, the story is open to both sequels and interpretation, the rival appears perfect but has human flaws. For those who blame "novel corrections" I think it is obvious that the MC and the prince's personality clash. I believe that is why he tried to falsely ccue her in order to wed the more compatible sister.

you mean to tell me that this girl - who clearly has enough audacity to handle important matters such as transcontinental affairs on her own at a young age, mind you. - doesn’t have it in her to tell her fiancée who will have to take all these roles on himself on top of leading a nation... to start learning about the world? she’s been reincarnated from a world that has otome video games, and on such a popular level in the video game community, so she should at least have subconsciously noted the effects of what happens when someone in power doesn’t know about what’s going on around them. and if you want to make the argument that she only started paying attention when she reincarnated, she still retained her memories from her previous life. one of the most important things history and government teachers will tell you is that the best way to show that you understand the subject is to link it to current day events. it’s not the slightest bit harder to do that in reverse.

@dysperwithaperiod she might have been prevented from trying to correct the prince based on the game. it points out the game is correcting things resulting in her parents forgetting the work shes done and how much of an influence she has on the world around them so it wouldnt be too big of a shock if the game was also silencing her in some way. nice little safety put in place just for that argument.

or she does try to correct him and he disregards her completely but thats not in the teaser i dont see why it wouldnt have been or why she wouldnt have tried unless the game was actually influencing her not to try

Interesting to note that technology has advanced to the point that visual novels are being played on a Nintendo Switch now in backstories instead of a PSP or PS Vita. (I have all three for what it's worth.)
