Basically this is the thought of every foot soldier, even the one scarred for life, crouching, cornered, wounded, as seen by the cute medic.

Honestly was expecting Gray to end up dead when he announced 1 casualty. Was very surprised that it wasn't him though.

Magic artillery

We've seen MC's side use it, so it would be expected that MC would be on the receiving end of it too.

The magic healing also made them extremely effective at first aid even if they have a limit on the number of times they can use it.

Well MC did said that she forget that magic exist, maybe the thunder guy magic will fully let her understand the dangers of it. Till now the author has not shown any serious offensive magic..so maybe this is where it will start (maybe not....)

Now that i think of it this world war must be going really bad for MC country to resort to literal child soldiers (i know some kids lied about their age to enlist in WWI but MC and the other kid look really young to be able to do it)

Remember, the war already run for 10 years. Imagine 10 years of world war, how many adults are even left?
