Oh how the mighty have fallen; good riddance, this shit arc is over. So many manga are mutilating themselves with one shit arc, that eventually ends up snowballing and ruining the manga. I wonder if this will come back from this god awful arc or spiral into manga hell.

There is a point at which ecchi becomes porn and takes people out of the story, and detracts from it, this is way past that line. Like time and place man, learn to compartmentalize shit.

Even so I feel the author may have cut this short earlier than planned if only slightly. Like right after fatty is defeated they clean up the city, save the fake little sister, then for some reason that saves the girl even though normally saving a trapped person requires them to reject the Amisogi. Instead saving her wasn't at all related to her and was instead about doing the "save the sister" quest.

That's the whole reason why Kazuya&co getting spanked in the end. It would be much easier if they researched beforehand and read novel to understand who might be Mamisaka and what her desire might be. Instead they rushed in unprepared and got themselves dragged into unnecessary troubles that they could avoid (though that was exactly what made this a good training for everyone, like it was predicted by Arumi (glass ball girl)).
And that's why they bumbled about even after defeating Dabada, and got released only after they destroyed all demonic mushrooms, thus saving Teenya and fulfilling amasogi's function to realize Mamisaka's desire, which is one of the ways to dealt with amasogi aside from destroying it one way or another (I don't remember exact chapters, but there were some about it).
