The short-term plan is still likely for the Nords to evacuate and leave Prince Edward Island/Epekwitk and return to Greenland and Iceland, the long-term "thousand year voyage" is likely something that will be more of a personal journey for Thorfinn (and maybe his family) I would bet.

Being able to acknowledged mistakes even after all the bloodshed is a good sign...it's really a relief to have some good developments for once.

We are so close to the end and on one hand, I want to see a bit of the alternate history where the nords and natives intermingled and developed together before 15th century colonialism was a thing.

On the other hand...I don't feel like the manga ending with Thorfinn singing kumbaya with everyone would feel satisfactory or match the tone so far.

I wonder what final note Yukimura-sensei is going to play after all this tragedy.
