@Glomoro Again, I have no problems with mistakes. They're accidents that happen. But to have an entire production chain with dedicated people who are expected to know about what they're being "employed" for (because that's what they are employed for in the first place) … There is only so much patience in the world, and I'm neither in the habit of being, nor under obligation to be, unconditionally and limitlessly generous in my diplomacy when it comes to receiving the results of negligence, ignorance, or whatever other conscious action or inaction lead to suchlike preventable garbage, and if you're more than willing to ruin the work of your fellow group mates, hypothetical or otherwise, and the reading experience for all of your readers (again, hypothetical or otherwise) just to spite one who decided not to take it up the arse, silently rolling their eyes, well, that's your prerogative, but again none I need to welcome unconditionally.

@baconcat Yeah, sure. You're not obligated to read something you think is below your standards. Calling the people that worked on it retards or whatever else isn't any more acceptable in that case than otherwise, though. It's not like the only options are "limitlessly generous in my diplomacy" and flat out rude/ad hominem. I'd to reference that old saying "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all," but then you'd probably just complain about being restricted in what you're free to say... but that's also kind of the thing. You are restricted in what you say here. Read the rules sometime, 'cause you agreed to them when you signed up for an account.

5.1.5, I'd definitely argue your original comment about this chapter breaks that rule. It offers nothing of substance beyond a personal attack. I'm not gonna bother reporting you for it or anything, I don't bother doing that for anything besides maybe spoilers so that someone can slap the spoiler tagging around it. It's funny though, because you're being plenty cordial to me so far and I'm pretty much directly antagonizing you, so I dunno if you just had a bad day then or what. But yeah, I'm probably done with this, if you feel like replying I'll read it, but I'm not gonna respond.

@Glomoro Antagonists aren't necessarily "the bad guys", though, and if stating facts, analysing evidence, and opining disagreement – even flourished with exaggeration for emphasis – is what you wish to have understood as "antagonising" then I see no reason to have it affect that cordiality you mentioned in any negative or diminishing way. It's not like you decided to just flat-out mock my arguably terse complaint or used worn-out stock phrases like demanding I do better first – a fallacy if there ever was one, not least because to be qualified to comment on a soup's excessive saltiness, one certainly needs not be a star chef, but mostly because the very act of raising the issue itself is by necessity proof of knowing better already.–
To clarify, though: That limitlessness wasnt meant to mean limitless at all. Quite the opposite: It was to mean, if worded rather hyperbolically, that there are indeed limits and that those limits would be set appropriately.
Anyway, I believe I get what you're saying, and I appreciate your saying it.
