Since you occasionally use MTL, if you have to use it, I'd recommend using Deepl rather than Google Translate

Thanks! I don't like all upper case, and I had to search for a bit to find a proper font with lower case lettering.

To be honest though, this chapter was much more straight forward than the last one, so it's not really my improvement... I do completely use Google Translate and Deepl together, along with kanji dictionaries and google phrase-searching, and then I try to piece together some kind of meaning. I really don't have more than absolute basic guide-book Japanese though, beyond being able to read kana and a few kanji, so if I transcribe a kanji wrongly, or just don't understand a sentence - then I'm in trouble.

Interesting look into his mindset. On one hand , he's walking the solitary path of martial arts. On the other, and it seems to be increasing with every person he meets, he desires a place to belong, maybe even give up this life of death and bloodshed.

Really enjoyed the family walking away scene too, like he knows every violent encounter pulls him further from a life of normalcy.

Jesus christ, the mangaka really somehow perfectly nailed the empty, souless, fish-like eyes of a hardened killer. I mean the art is really good and all but the eyes in that face in that last pannel really had some thought put into it. Also, thank you for translating this!

MORE! I actually really enjoy this series. Throwing a more classic seinen art style (kind of like I AM A HERO, but less detailed) into an isekai is always an interesting read. Like Manuke FPS and that other one where the guy is a sage/berserker or some shit. Fun stuff, keep the TLs coming (if you enjoy doing them, that is).
