@Duainfey : Because that would be a downgrade? I've kinda got over my initial disappointment at the manga by this stage (the start was really weirdly paced and failed to explain nor demonstrate anything adequately), but I still find it to be an inferior experience to the anime, which was wonderfully well done (if rather too short).

The constant re-use of the misunderstanding joke and the goofy cartoon animals really does ruin the tone of the manga.
