Correct, the manga is an adaptation of a (currently) 2 volume LN series.
The latest Vol 2 came out in Jan 2023.

By the way, how old is this ML again? I can't be arsed to go back and READ. He is giving off shota vibes or at the very least this manga is giving off shota vibes. If he was a fully grown man with fully grown nuts something would have immediately thunk'd the bottom of her chin. You know ... the hidden weapon he has would have gotten loose somehow.

this isn't a "batman vs joker" situation lol. this kid pretty much has near ultimate power in regards to what he can get demons to do. it's all downhill the second he starts thinking "ah, it's ok to kill this one guy". if he has a hardline of "don't kill people", the demons are less likely to start killing people. but if he starts making exceptions, the demons are probably just gonna go back to being as brutal as they were (and he himself might get a bit drunk on power)

I'm nervous about the inspector lady and her truesight. But at the same time, Suzuki's god-tier magic is only the inducement of "unconditional love" to demons.

Dispel that ability, and overwhelming cuteness still remains. That might even be her weakness. With that prowess, I bet 15 dollars she might even pull off a Hakari's-Mom-x-Rentarou
