@Zhakta I think this is mostly correct, but I still don't really understand them getting a place together; the age of majority in Japan is 20, so they would need their parents' consent to be able to rent a place, and the cost of moving into an apartment in Japan is pretty high with all the bullshit fees, so I don't know if two part time jobs would be sufficient to cover the cost.

why do people bother with pregnancy while still in highschool? they're old enough to marry. legal age of marriage in Japan is 16 for female and 18 for male. If both parents agree and they can take responsibility. what's the problem?
