I read it more as Momoka giving her a little sermon but, because she knows Mahoro tends to be indecisive, had a drink ready for her anyway. Not necessarily malicious. Good friends point out your flaws in a constructive manner. Even Mahoro thanked her for it.

Yeah, I think the advice was warrented - Mahoro is a doormat. I just feel like being constructive would include helping her make the choice rather than imposing one on her (b/c then she's unlikely to make a choice later) but yeah this could be a difference in cultural/communication norms.

Not necessarily, but it DOES mean there's something seriously wrong. If you genuinely think your partner might be cheating, that means that even if they're not you're unable to trust them for other reasons.

Like, even if it turns out he isn't, that doesn't make the constant dumping of chores and irritability and everything else go away. It just means that he did one fewer thing to break the relationship she's been trying to keep afloat.

I mean, it's a pretty nasty prank to pull, in all honesty. And even if it was just her getting psyched out, like... he's not exactly been treating her well since they got married. Even ignoring the little things, he made her get ready to retire for when they had kids and wanted her to do it immediately, and isn't taking any great effort in making that happen when it's theoretically what they both want.

Actually an interesting dilemma because I wouldn't know what the optimal decision in her situation. I guess what she did right now by talking to her friend (suspect?) but if she is the suspect that could backfire. The worst thing here is being trapped by paranoia and overthinking.
