I kinda agree with that one comment who suggested to put ads only on Solo leveling. Like killing birds with one stone, more people see ads so more money it generates and if people are put off by ads and leave to read it on other sites then it lessens Mangadex load.

Or maybe it's easier to just ban Solo leveling. Like people said, it's already on other sites anyway *shrug*

Maybe... they can divide the chapter into small parts that will be released in a span of "n" day.
just to load balance the server.
I mean... it is better to have spike on each day rather than a very big spike on a day

you get a big revenue from the ads!!
But to make it "fair", the policy about ads must be transparent such as
"we only give ads to the top 'n' series" because they are the bandwidth hogging tbh.
And to make it smooth, the TL and Mangadex should discuss if the series can be put ads in it.

I am totally in support of ads! I’d rather have ads than nothing at all.

As for solo leveling vs isekai, I read both. But it is infinitely easier to read one series (Solo Leveling) from another place or discord, rather than ALL of a certain genre.

@dattix I don’t think it was just one thing, perhaps it played a large role as people were looking for more stuff to do but a couple popular alternatives shutdown in the the last year. So some of it has been migration of communities.
