Instead of hating the guy for doing his job too well, why not figure out ways to streamline the loot processing? And maybe discuss with him that he's placing them under an immense workload? Nah, I guess communication is too mature for these people.

So his sister recognizes how hard he is working and that he may be coming home injured after a long day and the first thing she does is attack him without a word. Cool, we don't need any likable characters, I guess

But then the author couldn't show us how stupidly op he is! So everyone must be depicted as dense, dumb or excessively worrying!
Talking it out would eliminate 90% of this manga plot!

Literally every time the receptionists appears, they repeat that "visit without appointment aren't allowed". Yet they keep doing those.
If they really find all that such an assle, just stop accepting him until he takes an appointment, so they can find an accord on what time work best for them.

The artist for this manga us really good, the not only the art style and quality work really well for the story that is being told, but the paneling shows great skill as well
If you haven't already, you may want to check out their other manga they worked on, Inumimi. Did both the art and story on that one.

This is the worst guild ever holy shit. In most series the guild girl is best girl... why are they so fucking trash here?
they probably took the job not expecting a huge workload, as adventuring is dangerous. Most clients are likely conservative in the number of quests they take. So when dipshit McGee over there comes in with enough monster parts to tank the market value, they're gonna be upset

I think a plausible explanation here is that the guild sees a certain average number of quests completed, and a certain amount of loot submitted, every day, and the management assigns appropriate human resources to handle that number. If on a particular day a much larger amount than average suddenly comes in, the management isn't going to immediately increase the budget for that guild office, they'll just make the staff work overtime to handle it. Maybe if the rolling average increases sufficiently, they might be convinced to increase budget and staffing, but it certainly won't happen on day one, so the people who end up suffering are the grunt workers at the reception desk, thus explaining why they're so grumpy about it. As for

I think it's safe to assume that they've already picked all the low hanging fruit in this department. Maybe some logistics genius could come along and improve something, but that's not something you ought to be expecting from a low-paid overworked grunt worker at the front desk. And as previously explained, the management has no incentive to do such a thing either, cause they're not the ones who suffer from this. This kind of situation often happens in real life in large enterprises, so I don't think it's very unrealistic.

I agree with your explanation, but they can still discuss his insane quest completion rate with him. Setting a limit would be a bit of a dick move since what he's doing is probably increasing the region's safety, but maybe they can refer him to some other guilds nearby to offload part of his quests there (if that's possible). Or request support staff from the higher-ups who can follow him and process the loot while they're adventuring.

Yeah, I mean, if everyone was a mature adult they could all get together and talk it out in a civil manner and maybe work out something that works for everyone, but I guess it wouldn't be as funny (in the mind of the author anyway, this kind of humor isn't really my cup of tea).

The fact that it took 3 years for him to get that injured for the first time is impressive, also explains the sisters worry when for 3 years he's been less injured and suddenly he has kinda bad injuries

If he's been good about for 3 years but suddenly he gets somewhat heavily injured and is late, squashing the bad habits is a good thing, the she's definitely abusive with it though and should use a different method
