Ok, so the translator has said that there will be a chapter that himari haters will hate the most so either she somehow gets even worse than this(which would be difficult) or something happens that puts her in a better light so
a) she actually apologizes and tries to make up (which would be alot of character development in a short period)
or b) the guy does something abhorrent to get down on her level.
Looking forward to see what it is.

I’m actually baffled that there are people here supporting her or showing sympathy. I mean, this chapter clearly shows how Himari views Yuu if Yuu were to show sympathy.

In fairness her grand master plan is basically dating without the title lol like that’s her end goal, finding a loop hole around the “we’ll never fall in love with eachother” promise. I really do think the whole “fake crying” schtick is her coping with with her genuine feelings and not actually her weaponizing her tears. She’s still overplaying her hand, but I said she was a deep character not a perfect one.

I'm 37 (almost 38) years old and my only advice in scenarios like this one, is doing the same Natsume-kun did: move and don't even fight for someone this unstable... but let's be honest: both are meant to end together no matter how much we hate Inuzuka, so I just enjoy the ride and remember my old experiences with a woman like her, knowing that at least in fiction, this kind of couples can end together 😂

I'll admit that the first part of this chapter frustrated me. He didn't do anything to warrant apologizing except for breaking the necklace. The fact that she managed to make him think so was already aggravating.

Then, I found the chapter outright infuriating when it revealed that she wasn't that invested in any of this. Even if it is her lying to herself, the acknowledgement and giddiness to be manipulating her friend is disgusting.

I find her bad personality refreshing, honestly. Yuu’s little inner monologue had me tearing up a bit (all good things must come to an end kinda thing), and then we enter Himari’s mind and she’s thinking about how easy he was to trick and how to exploit his grief to further their relationship. The blatant disregard for his feelings! The 180 tonal shift between their thoughts actually got a laugh out of me.
