Danjo no Yujou wa Seiritsu suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) - Vol. 3 Ch. 26

My first reaction to this chapter was "YOU BITCH" however I can now understand its a Red Herring because she is simply telling herself that she faked it. While in reality the tears and feeling were genuine.

This is a possible prelude to her realizing her mistake of thinking she was making decisive decisions to get Yuu when in reality she didn't know how to express herself correctly and instead is ruining her chances.

It also shows that Yuu is thinking about things in a negative way when actually wanting the positive. Giving the possible outcome of Marriage it is obvious that is the desires outcome he wants but doesn't acknowledge it. He actually has feeling for Himari but is not looking at the positive outcomes of being together due to his focus on what they are doing which is working together.


So this chapter simply says 2 things:


Yuu loves Himari but can't see it and has given up pursuing her because he feels she is walking away from things and feels he can't stop it

Himari loves Yuu but can't see it and is trying to make Yuu pursue her more and with more determination not knowing that this approach is what is making Yuu quit on her.

I read A LOT of stories, especially those with romance so its easy to dissect when looking at it in a deconstructing viewpoint. Which is why my initial reaction was Bitch because I like reading it as its meant to, letting the readers emotions be guided by the story.

Also by what is shown with the art and seeing it as a writer myself, its fun seeing those subtle hints like the "Crocodile tears" actually being a red herring and not the truth but its put together well that people go with the first impression.

I myself am enjoying the story so far

We understood just fine mate, it's just very fucking annoying, on both sides. Sure, it's realistic and believable that kids would act like kids and make stupid, immature and overly dramatic decisions like these, because they're kids who aren't emotionally mature enough to make reasonable decisions or be honest with their feelings, but it doesn't make it any less teeth-grindingly infuriating to sit through.
There's a reason comments along the lines of "I just want to grab them by the shoulders, shake them and yell at them to simply fucking talk to each other" have been omnipresent in the last couple chapters. The readers know how powerless they are to stop an incredibly obvious series of events and that frustration has to come out somehow. No matter how contextually rational (i.e. there's a good reason why they're idiots), an Idiot Plot is still an Idiot Plot.

i dont like the fact some of you guys are deflecting the issue back to some of us readers, that if it made us more angry, we didn't pick up on the subtle things.

i did pick it up, and its fairly evident, you dont even need extra sense to know she was actually hurt at one point. but her attitude right now is still unacceptable.

sure, you say she's in denial, but she's treating the supposedly treasured choker as a throw-away and she still has other accessories. that's next level denial.

If she was treating it as a throw away she would have toss it and replaced it, even just looking at it brings her to tears. Yeah she’s on next level denial probably because she’s in denial that it may not be fixable. She’s doing everything she can to feel in control of a situation that’s been rapidly spiraling out of control for weeks, including lying to herself and ignoring reality. She’s actively scared as fuck
