Well looks like complaining wouldn't do anything. All I can say is - yeah... it is what it is, I guess. 28 chapters feel like a short story but it's a fun little journey.

It took way too long, was way too painful and at some point, it ruined the série for me... But I'm glad it's over and they're finally together.
Thanks for your hardwork!

They should have confessed 2 chapters ago!! Miami had the right mood, she took a lot of her courage saves confessed to Yuzu but Yuzu brushed her aside.. the Author should have had them as a couple since chapter 26.. I feel it would have been perfect instead of wrapping this in the last chapter.. but oh well.. the drama after chapter 26 was pointless..

This is cute and all, but I'm still immensely frustrated that you could cut out everything between like ch 4 and this confession, and the story would basically play out exactly the same. The only thing that has had literally any long lasting effect on the big picture story, since Minami decided she wanted to confess to Yuzu, is the reveal that Yuzu had feelings for Minami all along. I don't mind episodic story telling when it's upfront about what it's doing, but this story has constantly tried to give the appearance of plot development and progress while their relationship and their characters just stood still.

Thanks to the team for the translation!

And
Well. That was certainly one way to end it. At least they kissed?

In theory, in a vacuum, there's nothing really wrong with this ending. It was pretty obvious from early on that the solution to their conflicts was just a straightforward confession, and that's what we got in the end.

But the story put no effort into actually building up to the solution. The main character conflict for Minami was that she valued their friendship too much to do anything that she considered might jeopardize that friendship in some way, and Yuzu's was that she was hung up on the past and stuck in denial.

The last few previous chapters were emphasizing these traits and doubling down on them, not working through them or tearing them down. And then in this chapter it just drops them out of nowhere to give us an ending. Very unsatisfying. We needed to either see Minami work through her fear of losing her friendship with Yuzu and/or Yuzu come to accept the Minami that's before her now, rather than the one she pictures in the past. Ideally both. An ending with a simultaneous double confession from them would have been cute and very fitting imo. Ah well.

Well it was certainly cute and satisfying when it finally happened but I still wish they hadn't dragged it out past the ferris wheel scene. "I want you" and tries to kiss you was clearly not friendzoning you anymore.

Still, it was enjoyable. Thanks for translating.
