It's funny how some people hold Victoria to such impossible standards. I want to see some of the readers in Vicky's shoes, see if they are the saints they think they are. I for sure couldn't resist the manipulation of two gods, a saint and stay good after living in the worst possible upbringing where everyone despises me and wants me dead.

The only ones even deserving hell are Raoul and the gods since they are using evil methods that aren't even possible for humans to do.

Also what happened to Raoul's sister after her death? Still expecting her to either be evil or that the gods will use her against Raoul at least. Basically giving him a god killing weapon felt so stupid and his weird "dark magic" seems way too strong for the gods to be so chill about it - unless they are just trolling him.

No author, I won't cry for her even if she was tortured and manipulated. Suffering doesn't give you a free pass to cause innocent people to suffer just as much, if not more. This isn't a punch card system where if you get enough bad experiences you can torture, rape, kill and manipulate other people. She deserved everything she got and I won't be swayed by a harsh backstory

There is only one take away. The gods that made this world need to pay for the world they made.

Finally caught up... and I did no see it on my skimming of the 10 pages of this thread.... but in before the author reveals this is some fabricated bs the devils put victoria through instead of her backstory. Following the twistedness of this series, I would not be surprised this is something akin to the vision the MC made the king live through... but this time is the demons that took the iniciative to try and impress the hero.

The MC entraps people into corrupting themselves just so he has an excuse to send them to eternal damnation just so he can destroy the world and keep a few people alive in a “paradise” they don’t even want to be at. There is very few people he’s willing to limit himself on

I really don’t see why anyone is whining about this. Imo it’s far more interesting when character like Victoria has an actual backstory that informs why she is as fucked up in the head as she is, as opposed to just “Oops, she’s just like that tee hee”.
