@vannn it isn't really pulling punches, the point wasn't "no i don't kill kids", it was more like to show hero-kun's revenge has rigorous PRINCIPLES (i.e. not killing the innocent no matter what) and not just some blind tasteless violence.
Not that the readers care though.

It's funny how the kids are all intentionally ugly lil shits, but the one mom is a total wife, can't compromise on that one.

Anyways, I can respect a revenge porn series where the MC doesn't screw over totally innocent people, basically every other series like this the MC is an absolute shithead himself, and in some ways this guy is too, but well, it's true the kids weren't necessarily complicit in this case and thus he spared 'em, relatively.

It’s hard to take seriously when there’s never really a test of his principles, literally everyone we’ve met that wasn’t already dead as been a cartoon ghoul begging to die.

And how does creating a whole village full of orphans fit into his code?

I love that the mangaka knows how outrages and over the top the premise is, so every character in the manga is executed nicely.
There is no overly complicated monolouge about how the MC is just. He is doing it purely out of revenge, many similar manga's fail at trying to make the readers root for the MC.

I’m not bloodthirsty, but shouldn’t he kill the kids too? Since they might copy how the adults act when the young soldiers/villagers were asking for water at their gate and who’s to say they won’t do the same when they grow up?
