Nearly nobody thinks, people, who are dumber than me, should die. Real elitists do firmly believe, that dumber people still have a purpose. To serve the greater good. To create a better world. Honestly. I don't believe I have to go into the details of that nice world view, do I?

@Qelix Defend on what type of elitist your referring to Race supremacist for example some of them believe that other race should just die and their race should reign supreme look at look at history

@criver they're painted 1 dimensional unredeemably evil otherwise you get weirdos arguing that the one getting killed are somehow innocent.

like the general's servants in the previous arc or in another series, Goblin Slayer had randos arguing that the goblins aren't evil, it's some how their culture to murder, rape and eat humans and that makes them not evil.

@SunSun I couldn't care less if somebody will argue about morality. One-dimensional characters are simply a result of bad writing.

The author keeps on adding new enemies to die without a fight. This is getting boring. He really should just focus on the princess instead. There's no development for the characters

@oreki_san I mean the series is just 'revenge porn' honestly doubt you're gonna find too much actual adversity, and the princess is supposed to be the best for last, if the series kept going strong after she was killed off that'd honestly be worse than it stuffing a bunch before her.

It's not like she'd put up a fight either, anyways, he made it clear he could easily end her too.

I mean don't get me wrong I'm not like defending the series or anything, but if they just went to the princess that really would be a flag for the series end.

Yeah....Kratos isn't sadistic. He just simply brutal and blind with rage. But, this guy he's totally nut and sadistic. For him, a revenge isn't sweet if he didn't make them suffer first.

And...if you're thinking about collateral damage, look at the first case with the princess. He literally spread distrust among the people by amplified the voice of her subordinate when they made the confession. It just about time when people start revolting against the royalty. Not only that, he even set up a barrier around the kingdom, so no one will get in or get out.

Even if there's one or two like you explained, it may not the focus of the story. Because the effect may small or even meaningless for the MC. With the MC as insane as he is now, do you think he cares about collateral damage? Nope, not a chance.

This is getting tiring to read. MC may be doing this out of his own justice but in the end, he's acting like the people he hates the most. Dropping this.

@cor3zone Because this whole show is simply because he wants them to suffer in karmic ways, he considers just killing them not enough as punishment.
Also he doesn't consider himself "as bad as them" since ... well those guys are a special breed of shitty to be honest but he do knows that what he does is morally wrong. He simply decided after all they did morals can kiss his ass and does it anyway. That already makes him better than his targets who don't even fathom what they did was wrong.

That's the thing, though. We can't definitively say he doesn't care about collateral damage, since there hasn't been any. For me, unrest caused by his actions doesn't count. That was calculated. It also wasn't shown; no revolution has taken place on page. I'm talking about unplanned, innocent deaths directly caused by his actions.

@theShear
Ok, then please provide evidence of his supposed morals. So far, I've read that his soul wasn't cleansed before returning, and that his unsealed dark power will corrupt his soul. When dealing with the princess, he had to tell himself to not kill her yet. He was literally fighing his instincts, just so he could cause her more suffering. Not out of pity or anything benign, no, it was pure malice winning over anger. He depises "having a sense of justice". There is evidence that he is aware that what he's doing is not 'good'. There is not a shred of evidence that he believes what he's doing is wrong. There is evidence that he might not even be aware of the 'wrongness' of his actions, due to corruption.

This manga is like DOOM. You can vent your anger by killing monsters or vent your anger seeing the MC take his revenge.

@cor3zone Go a few chapters back, he pretty much admits when visiting the place where his Sister died that she would not approve of what he's doing meaning he do understands how vile it is. Do remember I said he "understands" it, not that he is in any way moral. In fact that he understands it but still decided to feed a Guy his own children makes it clear he's a very special kind of evil. He's only better than his targets by virtue of (so far) not targeting Innocents and at least understanding and accepting that what he does is Vile ... though frankly not by much and I still would calculate his evil in Kilonazis.
