I know they say that they don't want to send Kousuke to the frontlines, but if his abilities follow Minecraft logic, I feel like it would be OP to take him to the frontlines and make a floating walkway/base above the kingdom's capital. Just siege from the air with ranged weapons outside of the humans' range, don't bother with a series of forward bases for ground combat.
Sylphie said her army needed the experience to fight with the new weapons and methods Kosuke came up with. If he ever dies or gets captured they're SOL.

I find the self-loading designs somewhat dubious. I guess it's natural the author couldn't exactly copy them from credible sources, so they are what they are.

The way I understand it, it's because of how the event flowed + it's a mix of both the natives' idea and Kousuke's instead of just Kousuke just thinking of 'I want a repeater balista'
They made crossbow with ammo box for ease of reloading.
Kousuke suggest adding a golem to handle the reload action itself, letting the user just focus on aiming and pulling the trigger.
The answer is no (possibly due to core size being too large) but on a balista it should be possible.
Hence the final product is basically upscaled version of the crossbow with golem attached to reload for the user.

It would be about the time for the MC to remove his slave status. It was necessary in the beginning as he would have probably been murdered otherwise by people traumatised by the human kingdom, but now everybody loves him.

Umm, these incoming people are exactly 'people traumatized by human kingdom'...

Also, he's never really a slave. We had that chapter of him proving himself as marebito by showing that the collar has no effect on him.

Honestly, so far I like Sylphie the least. I mean.... I read this manga for... reasons and I'm not really expecting too much from the story. Plus the whole minecraft thing is hilarious.
But I dislike bossy/domineering characters.... And no, sexually aggressive is not the same as sexually domineering/bossy. They are different things.

I'm really looking forward to see the MC interact with more girls...

In this chapter he asked the guys if they are content with a relationship between a slave like him and their princess. That's actually a pretty significant way of asking it. It wasn't a joke about being a slave, while fully acknowledging he's not really a slave. It was a direct way of referring to his own social status as a slave. This is why I'm asking the question, not because he's still wearing the useless collar or anything. He's referring to himself as a slave in a serious manner. It means he does actually consider that his official status, even though in practice he certainly doesn't act like a slave and probably doesn't even remember it more than occasionally.

Fair enough question, but when I check the RAW he doesn't call himself a slave, at all. He used '臣' (vassal) which I think refers to the others.

So the line might actually be "Actually, as her vassals, are you guys ok with my relation with Sylphy?" or "As her vassal, is it fine for me to have relation with Sylphy"

Honestly the translation of this chapter has been strangely bad in some parts, not sure if it's a new guy or just the way some conversation flow in this chapter just mess with the TL.

Another example of definitely wrong translation was when the guys brought up the girls they know are interested in him, the first bubble suggest they're not sure about those 3 but in the RAW it's only Schmel that's on the unsure (since, y'know, hard to read a lizard's expression)

I really love this one, Space Merc, and Galactic Naval Officer and I really recommend reading the LNs for them. The WNs are also very good and not a whole lot changes from each story version. The masses are making some pretty wild guesses about the future...Oh, where to start.... Don't read if you don't wanna know!

She becomes his bodyguard later, but nothing ever happens, so you might get a couple more fanservice shots of her, there won't be many, or any, at all. Sorry!

It's not a harem. No, really... (It's actually a horny female sex army, with numbers approaching 50 later. He also gets a smaller army of personal maids that are Yandere-levels of loyal.)

Nah, Sylphy is immune to all negative status effects throughout the entire story. She's also impervious to all injuries. Sounds like I'm joking, but I'm not.

Cute Melty hasn't even happened yet. She's legit the best girl, for some crazy reasons later. Why you may ask? well, if you really want to know, read the next spoiler.

I'm not going to go into extreme detail, but...MC gets captured by a legit asshole later, getting locked in a dungeon. To save him, Melty CUTS off her freakin horns to look like a human and infiltrates in an attempt to rescue him. It's also found out later that she is probably one of the, if not THE, strongest member of the resistance, able to physically curbstomp almost anyone.

I proofread this a while ago and I've been dying to post this comment about the first/second page since then:

By my estimation that wall is about 7*4*9 without the brick/slab crenellations with 2*4*9 of cobble under it so the required materials should read 257 brick, 72 cobble, and 4 slabs.

now i may have made a mistake in my measurements but I'm 100% sure its not to the degree to be off by just under 200 bricks and over 100 stone, artist/editor must have just kinda guessed the rough amount of material needed, rounded it, and went with it, clearly underestimating the autism of their target demographic

It is wild seeing how the manga adapts the novel, the name changes really throw me off though

For reals. That's one thing that gets me when the WN or LN is out, there is a widely accepted name already in use, and then the manga TL changes it to something else. Or vice-versa.

Sometimes for better, sometimes for worse, and sometimes it’s just “tomaeto tamahto”

Let me show you it's features
Let me show you how to spell "its".

Anyhow, that fast-reload crossbow shows artist has no clue about mechanics.
Artist seems to severely underestimate the draw weight of combat crossbows and to severely overestimate the function of a lever. Point of a lever is force multiplication by spreading the action over a longer distance, but the lever's end pretty much covers the same distance that the string is drawn, anyway. So, if those distances are the same, you don't need a lever. And I don't see a ratchet that would split the full redraw into multiple pulls. Internal?
So, if we don't need the lever, the draw weight can't be much more than that of a toy. Yeah, beastmen stronk, but we also get shown how Kosuke cocks it casually, isekai reload button notwithstanding.
There's also no mechanism visible to transfer the lever pull into the string. The lever seems to be just bolted on on both sides. Internal again? (Nevermind, just spotted that the lever pulls the entire mag box back. Still, the stroke length is way off compared to the draw distance.)
And the grav-feed magazine? For what? Putting in the bolt is pretty much the quickest thing during reloading a crossbow and thus the hardest to optimize any further. You're saving nothing, really, in exchange for having a big fat log blocking your sight. Not to mention that such a magazine would only really work if you're shooting pencils like Sprawe but not fully flighted bolts where the flights would just keep catching between neighboring bolts and on the mag walls.

Either way, you now have a disproportionately overcomplicated, rattly mechanism to manufacture, maintain, and use, that solves nothing in practice, severely obstructs aiming, throws off the balance of the weapon to be even more front-heavy and top-heavy, makes it heavier and bulkier overall, and feeds unreliably at best.

"I'm proud of this."

Yeah, proud my ass.

Oh, and by the way, the curve in the handle at the end of that lever seems to change direction between panels. I love Sasayuki's elf tits, but I suppose anything mechanical is probably best handwaved as "The prop department tried." …

Somebody missed the reference by being overly pedantic about grammar... (The name Joerg might help you along...)
