Events like these happen all too often but don't often get reported because with enough money people can essentially get away with anything. I'm glad this manga didn't shy away from portraying how these sickos act and how they are usually well known wealthy people. Someone in this comment section gave some good links. @Nikosgarofola I could say that the whole manga is a very grotesque shitty satire on the entertainment industry in Japan, but damn, I think Rui really wanted to show that from the beginning. Compare with earlier chapters where he substantiated Beruko's body with reference to eating disorders among models. It's kind of like a perfectly organized marriage. You were forced to marry this girl, but she is good and hot enough that you have no problem with it.

I like how they made this guy's "friend" into literally just Epstein-but-somehow-worse. And he and the police chief are Epstein-but-worse's "friends".
