Nothings happening in these monthly chapters, literally 0.
That will leave Ayaka alone tho, just how blind are you to think doing that is beneficial to the story in any way? If that happens Ayaka will be deeply traumatized, making her easy to brainwash for her afterwards... She will have lost everything to gain just a skill. It’s unlikely to happen, but the author had the funniest opportunity to kill off all the characters in this arc and most readers might actually clap them for it. And also will probably be a net positive for our MC because it will be a huge negative for the scum goddess regardless.
Though most likely at least Ayaka will make it because this was supposed to be how she got her skill.
To be fair, how he divided the two parties once Frodo and Sam went off on their own is something a lot of people point out as a flaw (and that it got changed for the better in the films). There are a lot of other storytelling techniques people criticise him for as well. Though personally I'd still say he's good enough of a writer to get away with those things. Can't say the same about almost all light novels or mangas.Imagine if Tolkien wrote a manga about the Lord of The Rings and each months there were people asking : "Where's Frodo, the rest is boring, nothing's happening every month, litterally 0."
I mean, the editor completed one yesterday and one today and released them promptly after. The group is just sticking with the raws.So... What's the point of posting the chapter in so many pieces if u already have half or a full chapter(as the last piece was posted yesterday)? Is it good to release in quarters so more traffic goes to your website? Or that it artificiality seems like you're translating more? Or is it that a FAN BASED website has such a long stick up their arse that they support a shitty industry practise at the expense of the fandom, you know, the whole point of website and supposedly run by the fans for the fandom...
I understand enforcing posting the same format as raws rule to stop people from splitting chapters into tenths, but if it's true that they even go after people who combine split chapters, a fix for the most most despicable industry practice in my opinion, then it's truly dark times...
For those who, somehow, don't see how this drip feed content style is shitty, think this:
If this would be a anime, this sorry excuse for a chapter would take no longer than 40 or so SECONDS.
The MC is heading towards the battle, but I am unsure how he will react when and if he encounters his classmates. For one his classmates used to bully him and when the Goddess was exiling him to the Dungeon only one of them stood up for him (The second MC and the Goddess punched her in the stomach) and the rest criticized and belittled him for not wanting to die and wasting their time. Thus, the way that I see this playing out is that the MC ends up killing most of his classmates (except the female MC) or the MC shows that he is stronger and could kill them at any time if they get in his way, kind of turning the tables on his classmates (I do see at least three of his classmates being killed by him right off rip).Isn't the MC also heading towards this battle? I have no problem with some focus on these side characters, but also it feels a bit funny when I know basically the only way this is ending is with MC having to save them, so seeing her overcome more and more things feels kinda goofy when I'm wholly expecting her to fail in the end.
