Ah finally she said out loud that she cherished Kyo as a friend more than actually being in love with him. Eri forced herself to like Kyo and dated him. Kyo isn't a bad guy but he's not exactly a good one towards Fuyuki and Eri's relationship. And as suspected that Ino girl likes Kyo. Will Kisaki be the bigger person and tries to mediate Fuyuki and Eri's feeling?

That's the issue though. She's not romantically jealous. I'm honestly curious where this story is gonna end up, and I think it might end up in a psuedo "bad-ending", where Eri is just hopelessly codependent and loves Fuyuki, in a platonic way, but agrees to a relationship because they both want to be with each other forever anyway. She even says in Ch14 "I don't mean it like that" when she says she loves Fuyuki. Of course, it could just be she's unaware of her feelings, but I don't think so because it's only Fuyuki that matters.
That's a possibility. Maybe Eri is definitely codependent towards Fuyuki. But sometimes romantic love isn't being understood or acknowledged properly because of that. The latest chapter showed how Eri had strong reaction towards Kidali and Fuyuki kissing. Something leaning towards actual jealousy than mere codependent jealousy. We shall see. I hope this manga doesn't choose vague ending or one sided romantic love into relationship. I really like the author's works so far but the fave one definitely where the MCs ended up together happily.

I was simply going to write that this is one of Shinoa best works and the fact that it's really refreshing considering how her stories usually are but I need to add that discussing specific chapters content in the entry page comments has to be done using spoilers, as per rules guidelines.

This series is exhausting. I guess this similar to how most naïve sapphics experience their first love. As a miserable pining for a person that you know will never see you in the light you see them, while you watch from the sidelines as the live and love without you. Maybe you, the reader, just want to step into those shoes. I personally don't feel like retracing my steps. She even helps the person she loves get prepared to have their first time with some rando in a flashback and then catches her with her other childhood friend on the couch. I would be moving province, changing my name, considering lobotomy... it's over.

Like... I get that the idea is "realistic relationships" but the angst and heartache is amped up to 11 with no fluff to cushion the fall. It's pain for the sake of it. If that's what you're into, go for it. I'm burnt out on it though, especially since it's clear things are just going to keep being horrible long before they (maybe? could just bad end honestly) start to brighten up.

It's an issue with a lot of drama series like this, but we see Eri's good side so rarely it's kinda hard to root her for her sometimes. We basically only get to see her mid death spiral, it's unfortunate. Definitely makes me wish Fuyuki could meet a nice girl that's outside of this tangled mess.

I also do enjoy Eri's brother getting a brief glimpse into what's going on and immediately backing off so he doesn't get involved. Cute moment.

On the very first panel I was like, hang on, this art style...I am very familiar with this.. This style is something I really like so went back to confirm. And holy— boy how I've been missing a lot. Finally, a serialization from Murasakino-sensei? Damn I'll prepare my heart first before reading this one. I'll be back for sure

I was actually really liking the story, and was so shocked to see the amount of hate in the comments 😭. I don’t understand what people mean to say when they’re talking about “pure yuri”. It’s… still a yuri story? And sure there’s angst but that’s well expected when you’re picking up the manga, and it’s supposed to be like that. It’s a much more realistic thing. And if that’s not your style, I think just don’t read it, it saves a lot of time for you as a reader.

I liked the art, it has an almost homey feel about it. I do think that Fuyuki shouldn’t end up with Eri, and even if they do end up I hope there is growth on both there parts for it.

Basically, yeah there’s angst but that doesn’t mean it’s an awful story. It’s nowhere near as bad as other commentators are making it out to be.

This is a Josei LGBT manga more than a yuri. Is more about complex feelings like love, guilt, confusion, and discovery than just romance. You know by the sinopsis that this manga will be hard because we are told that Fuyuki will not confess her feelings... You knew you were up for a hard ride.

And if you want Fluffy lovely GL stick to shojo or Shonen GL. Seinen and Josei GL are for adults ready to be confronted with the sad part of being gay in a straight world, complex feelings and discovery journeys... This is actually pretty well done, characters feel humane and the parce of the story is good and well written.

For all girls manga go read Strawberry Panic. You will only see women, and is pretty light hearted too.
I talk shit cause we are reading GL to see girls kiss with girls… If we wanted to see girls kiss with a boy we would read straight romance🤦🏼‍♂️ Its simply just fucking annoying that authors for some reason decides to write a GL series and then decide “Oh lets have one of the MC kiss a guy in the first chapter, cause thats totally what people read GL series for”…

Also I dont really want to read this series more since I dont want to keep seeing an MC kiss (and potentially have sex) with a guy in a GL manga, just a waste of time to keep reading more at this point

The hate is from people that is not ready to be confronted by real stories about adults having feelings in a real world setting.

They want fluffy love stories were girl meets girl and everything is fine. They are probably to young for this kind of storys, or not in the right mental state for it. Reading this kind of Josei GL requieres you to want to explore emotions and human nature over just fluffy romance. Is reading about Lesbian experience, not just lesbian love.

Dont worry, I have stopped reading this absolute trash manga ages ago… Still wish Mangadex would add a Way to hide trash series you dont want to see…

look at these yuritards lmao. the main girl has a boyfriend so what's the problem with that? bet these people wouldn't have complained if the girl rejected the boyfriend for the another girl. i hope this gets a bad ending with the girl getting NTR-ed.
What are you talking about? What's your problem?

As a gl fan who happens to be an adult lesbian, please stop telling me what I’m allowed to like, thank you.

I love this so much so far, but reading the comments sometimes makes me wonder if we’re all reading a very different story.
I think people that comments something like, this is not GL or yuri cus there's hetero relationship or even men is someone who fetishizing GL. I mean this story telling something realistic that happened in the real world that pretty much common sapphic experience and you don't like it? It's okay cus that's your preference and didn't like the angst but calling this work trash and it's not true "Yuri"? Like what the hell are you talking about

You’re so real for this, i saw a comment talking about how people read GLs to see girls kiss girls, and i was like… dude. This entire concept of having “pure Yuri”, pisses me off so much. You totally hit the nail on the head when you said that the commentators are fetishising GLs, because they absolutely are. And they just can’t seem to accept that this story depicts a fairly realistic experience many have gone through.

The hate this manga is getting is genuinely mind-boggling. And it just seems so invalid. They aren’t even critiquing the story for any proper reasons, it’s like they’re hating on the story just because it’s angsty. And it seems none of them read the blurb/synopsis whatever. You know VERY WELL what you’re getting into once you read that. It’s honestly their fault if they didn’t.

A lot of hate in these comments, all you have to do is drop the series and move on. Comics are a hobby and no one's forcing you to read.

As for the "pure" Yuri, this a coming of age drama, the characters are still figuring themselves, their relationships and their feelings towards each other out out, it's messy. Not everyone gets to know what their deal is straight away, especially when societal norms pushing you to conform.

As for the story, man I do enjoy the writing but the tension and angst is just building and building with no release or distraction and can feel utterly miserable. Definitely not something I'm binge reading, need to take this one slow!
