pretty sure up until now she has just had a very strong suspicion due to a lot of circumstantial evidence, if she actually did realize beforehand at some point i feel it would have been made more clear. if she knew thats fine i guess if a bit disappointing to me personally, since if nothing else the fact that this came as a surprise to so many people means it wasn't particularly well conveyed.

I've read manga where the character STRAIGHT OUT said something, for the sake of example lets say "I cannot use that item. I don't have enough power to do that." and comments that are clearly lacking in knowledge with things like "Why didn't he use that item? He had it with him!".

The fact that so many people are surprised about it is not about it being conveyed poorly. It's about them being incapable of understanding English language and implications.

not sure why this is being brought up again over a month after i posted it, but if you scroll down just a little bit after the quoted comment you'd see i was corrected in that it was indeed brought up in the manga...just in chapter 11, which was released nearly a decade ago.
while i agree that sometimes the memory and generalized reading comprehension of some people can be questionable (to which im no exception at times), i think it can be somewhat forgiven in this case considering the massive time gap since it was revealed she knew he was human and the near-total lack of any further development for the plot thread in the intervening 425 chapters.
