Honestly, how idiotic could they be for them to think that there’s little credibility to their own beliefs (dragon’s bride) when even one of their own testified to it (before they ditched).

Sure, it’s a legend, but at least question it a bit when someone comes back unscathed after jumping into a volcano with a scale that can basically kill from just a touch. It’s not conclusive evidence but you know, at least give it some doubt ESPECIALLY after she said that a country was already conquered by the dragon.

Like you know, have some sense of danger or something. I wonder how the king hasn’t been assassinated before this? Maybe he was so dumb they thought he was perfect as a figurehead?
