Author should have written Leighmary's ideas as MC's, now he looks like an idiot who got carried to the end by Leighmary's tactical ingenuity.

Without her MC and his party would have died here.

Now she seems more of a MC than him, she is the one leading the group and their tactics.

But this chap heavily foreshadowed that she will die soon in the battle with the Empress, so I don't know how the author will have the MC resolve the conflict of the story on his own.

Well, Yalya turned out to be an oddly weak and disappointing antagonist in the end. So much for being the "strongest witch ever". Anyways, this long-drawn-out arc was absolutely not up to par with the others. It might even be the worst this serie has produced imo.

I'd probably have died in chap 1 if I was literally in this world as the last man since I am asexual IRL, I find real sexuality to be literally gag inducing, even hearing people kiss disgusts me.

I'd have been eaten by the very first monster I found.

Actually Youta died at the end while every chicks get their own FREEDOM 🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 would be the best ending, and died because he and nishina vs empress and kanejou kill each other and everyone who fighting died.

Still, not solving why Lilia is there but maybe it will be solved if the MC daddy interfere the story and it will be interesting, I hope if Okamoto considered daddy join the game... I HOPE at this arc not after this arc. Fukin burned dawg

I really still can't fault the author for making the fight this long that much because it's a complicated enemy and they can only beat these witches because of Youta's modern knowledge. Even with their mightiest warrior, the women in this world would never figure out how to defeat the witches before they get too "old" and melt, and it's almost impossible for them to pass knowledge to the next generation.

But, I CAN fault the author for choosing to make Yaruya's/Yarla witch form this complicated in the first place. Could've shortened the lengthy fight (holy fuck, it took 19 chapters) with a less complicated creature or a slight tweak in her abilities, though a better writer probably could've shortened and/or made the fight more interesting I wager. And I know "slimes" are fantasy creatures, but I don't recall them being mythological so I think she's a bit out of place.

It's just that this fight is too long and a bit repetitive with Yarla mindbreaking the girls repeatedly... though if I was her that's actually a good move, though it's kinda her only move too.
