i thought about it too and just gave myself the answer that those vehicles were made in consideration of having to fight in the wild so ai driving isn't so far fetched

That would probably have the opposite effect: if somebody took such measures on a unknown ruin, it means that what's inside is valuable enough to risk making such "noise". It would be better to map the ruin ASAP, strip bare the ruins closest to all but the most unassuming of the entrances and discreetly hide with rubble and/or wrecks the true extent of the ruins.

But that's not the question: How did that woman learn of the ruins? Why is she targeting Akira's ruins? And why are intentionally involved the only two known users of Assist AIs in the scheme?
