It's cool that they show that Akira would've died multiple times by now without alpha's support, but it's kind of a nothing burger, there's nothing on the line in the case he fails, I guess that's one of the points of these kinds of stories but without interesting side characters to see struggle the story becomes monotone.

actually you can see the 3rd weapon on page 2,4,5, but there's no reason why the artist decide to skip him throwing his weapon and swapping until after he was point blank with the gun barrel. Would have been more believable and cooler if he showed Akira's foresight by having him throw the CWH and swap while he was jumping up, not after.
"Muh timestop powers were beaten by kid" is getting old.

Artist just being lazy for a monthly manga smh. Anyway, I think the slow-motion is a pov of the kidnappers and it would take more pages to draw the scene you wanted to see since they only have a dedicated amount of pages for each chapter of the manga (except for the opening chapters).

Btw, it would be much more illogical if a less-trained person beats someone who has dedicated their spare time training, that kind of scenario is more stale than a week-old bread.

did we not read the same series? Akira has been getting whipped daily by Alpha. He's been training nearly every chapter + the aimbot cheats. Your second paragraph does not make sense in that regard, since that's exactly what happened even if you think Akira is less trained.
