Interesting... Based on the comments about how these types of soldiers historically would be killed off instead of captured, the reason their surrender was even accepted in the first place is probably due to how if the special task force, who were the only ones on the scene at the time, didn't they would now have to fight the 400 soldiers and would have sustained heavy casualties themselves as they are a relatively small unit. Accepting the surrender of these otherwise worthless prisoners would be a situation that probably didn't come up a lot, having 400 some commoners all surrender at once isn't a feat that can be accomplished without someone like Olivia to convince them that a guaranteed and unstoppable force of death and carnage is slowly chasing them.
