The condom thing SOUNDS weird... But as someone who considered telling the neighbor that their cat got ran over in a similar way I can understand the thought process.
(Although I only left a note telling them where to find it because.... that involved touching it...)
Whether it's a dead cat or cheater, how do you break the news? Especially when you hardly talk to them? They deserve to know, don't they? But what if they take it out on the messenger? What if it ruins the neighborhood peace? What if your family gets sucked into a dispute between households?
