There's a reason I identify with Gojo, honestly.

I feel like the manga author-san wants to make is totally, exaustively and exclusively about cosplay (think a Masaki no Pan, but with intrincacies of costumes instead of bread), but he added the romance part as a precaution, because axe-kun in 3~5 chapters is not good.

It wasn't people complaining that there was cosplay in the cosplay manga, it was people complaining that there was cosplay in what they had decided was a romance manga. Luckily most of those people seem to have given up on the manga and left.

It was the fact that there was suddenly zero romance in a cosplay/romance manga that got fans up in arms. They're both right there in the title, after all.

Gojo is fine as he is. Wakana Gojo 100% embodies female gaze. He is kind, passionate, respectful, cute. Marin thinks the same so idk what you’re on about lol. And they’re in freaking high school. Romance was clumsy that time.

Right people seem to forget that one time Gojo stepped in at karaoke and yelled at the other guy "am I not good enough?!" only for it to be a misunderstanding and Gojo sulks but Marin kisses him.
