First, thanks for the translation Death Toll!

Couple of funny bits: the dude hanging onto the tank barrel during the tank desant and Lt. Colonel Deborah slight blush when Romel is talking to Degurechaff through her. Shame she's manga only :shamihuh:

When the manga started, it felt like "Tanya the Evil" was pretty appropriate. But somewhere along the way, she became "Tanya the Ruthless" -- which may be, but isn't necessarily, evil. It may be ruthless to cut off a limb with a battlefield wound that's turned gangrenous, but without doing so the patient will die.

I think the 'Evil' part isn't so much that she's a 'bad' person, but rather because Gods basically declare the Empire as evil and she's pretty much the saintess figure of the Empire.

Also, something I saw while browsing my usual raw site:

Well, original title is basically "The Military Chronicles of a Little Girl", so adapted title is here just to sell it to you.

Opposing the will of God makes her evil by definition. That we're repeatedly told that she's going to lose and won't be the one to write history probably doesn't help, either.

"I see, then that person's efforts were rewarded" ...?

This is one of those in the future chapter (like the newspaper people looking for the missing history)

It take place at funeral for Glanz/Grantz(the younger group that was with Romel in ch 68)'s sister.

Tanya was talking to the lady's (great? forgot how many generations)grand daughter right before that line.

Her next line was "The Empire may be gone, but it's our victory"
Basically even though the Empire lost, and Grantz likely died in the war at some point, their efforts to protect the motherland weren't in vain.

Major Degurechaff... how did you accomplish this?
you're the one who made her do that general Rommel :ROFLMAO:
any commander who heard that their general leroy jenkins alone to the frontline would've turned rabid wolf to follow along

Here is the sighting of said rabid (loli) wolf
