@Ashisu As of literally right now, 10k Yen is 81.20€, a bit different than that 125 (75%) you mentioned. As I said, "general conversion is 100", simply a quick math if you don't wanna have to go look at Google every time. Divide by 100 and you have a general idea.
But fine. He's getting paid 2,435.92€ a month for what originally was described as "greeting her when she comes back". That's...30 minutes of work/day. Let's say it actually also includes making dinner (and breakfast/lunch, why not), and cleaning the house (which is not very big). 2-3 hours? 2.5k€/month for 3h/day (not weekends).
For the salary in Spain, I admit I was a bit outdated since I've been jobless for 4 years. I was referring to numbers from 2018, when the minimum salary was 730€. Apparently it's 950 as of 2020.
You're right, in 2019 the average salary was 2.3k€/month for a 9h/day job (often Saturdays included) on paper, when it's actually more like 10-11.
So, again. HOW is getting 200€ more for working 6 hours less a day not a lot of money?
I'm really glad you make more than 5k€ a month in an entry level position. Now I'm just gonna wait for literally 99% of this website to tell you how fucking rare that is, and my argument is rested.
(Btw, since I'm a teacher, what I was quoting off the top of my head before all this research was my job salary, which is around 2k/month for WAY MORE THAN 10h/day PLUS all weekends. Since, you know, homework, assignments, papers and exams are not actually paid but we still have to do it. So... yeah...)
