Can you please tell me what are the new residents? I don't watch the anime
So we saw the addition of gorgons and wing kins so far.
Another race tried to become residents but they failed the interview and got kicked out.

I honestly can't remember what's happened in this story beyond 5-6 chapters back... just now the girl with the black hair introduced herself as 'limia's hero" and I don't have a clue who she is, lol. There seem to be so many different story threads and characters, it feels like the MC isn't really doing anything but dragging us from one thread to the next constantly. What even was his original goal when he was isekai'd to this world?

This is a multi=pov story with many people and their own goals. Some confusion is understandable.

Makoto was meant to be a hero working for the goddess aka Bug, but Bug cast him out after looking at him. He was endowed with more power from Tsukiyomi and told to live freely. After establishing his town Asora in the demi-plane, he now seeks information about his parents and the lives they lived in this world, and he happens to wander into other peoples plots and such, leading to his conflicts.

At this point, Makoto would never meet the other isekai'd people, wouldn't he? That's shucks. :wtf:

He does meet both.

Apparently Tomoki lusts so hard for Mio and Tomoe, he tries to force Makotobto give him them. Makoto beats him to an inch of his life several times before leaving him be.

That's cool spoiler about Tomoki. But how about Hibiki? She was like a friend of a friend of Makoto in Earth, right? I'm much interested on how will it goes when she meets him.

I swear, the manga is behind on some things, but there are also so many more details, it's so weird.

it gets boring for most people.
How to learn this power, oh wise one? :O

I used to have insomnia and the only way i had to sleep was once every 2 days (pills were forbidden due to past attemps), it did great for my academic results i did 8 years of classes in 3 years only.
1. Were the effects of not sleeping not strong for you?
2. Not having enough sleep already makes the brain slower and less efficient, so I would really like to know how you were fine?
3. Did you not feel drowsiness and brain-fog after being awake for more than 1 day?
4. I thought insomniacs were not able to excel in school due to their lack of sleep?

Your saying breaks my idea of insomniacs, so I would love to know more about it.

it's not 24/7 as that is a legit medical condition called insomnia.

but you can modify your sleep so you only have to sleep 2-3 hours/day.

so... the healthy amount of sleep for the average human is 7-8 hours/day. but of those 8 hours, we actually only really rested for about 3 hours. in the state of sleep called REM(rapid eye movement) sleep. it is this state that our body craves. as a side note, it is in this state that we can dream.

so you have to make your body able to just go into REM once you close your eyes.
how do you do it? simple. you sleep 6x/day, but only 30 minutes each. the first month, you WILL feel like a zombie. but by the 3rd month, you'll either have achieved what you want, or abandon the idea.
you can also modify the sleep time. as long as most of the time you sleep, you take 30min sleep.
i used to go with 2 hours of sleep from 4-6 AM, and 2 30-minutes nap at 12(lunch break) and 10PM.

you can also train to do a lucid dream. it's much easier this way.

BTW, the idea is from how herbivore sleep in the wild. they need the maximum amount of awake to spot predators. which is why they only take a short nap, multiple times/day.

ah, BTW i basically become nocturnal while i did this., and while my mental state is fine, overtime i do feel that my body getting sluggish. long story short, i stopped after about 6 months.

i forgot what this sleep method is called. it's been about 7 years. so i advise you to do some research on your own.

1 and 2. Past a while my body got used to it also i used to just lay down in the bad/sofa and close my eyes for like one hour in complete silence every 5/6 hours with no sleep it helped me a lot (i live in a rural area the silence helps a lot)

3. I did after some 32 hours after which i'd just do some menial chores then go to bed.

4. I had a lot (actually diagnosed by professionals not the self diagnosed from social media) of mental issues plus i'd just came out from a real dark place in my life at the time (i'm still have nightmares of it 22 years later) and studying was one of my only escapes, it helps a lot that i was home-schooled (homeschooling is solidly supervised by the Ministry of Education where i live they'd send you a bunch of books with the lessons and tests and you'd send back the tests, you'd also had a way to contact teachers by phone whose all job was explaining lessons and help when stuck, none of that being educated by your cultist parents) of also helped that my legal guardians at the time where comfortably wealthy and could hire someone to explain to me in person when i was stuck on something.

I hope it helped you understanding and on a final note i just want to say you'd be surprised by what the human body can endure (don't worry it will make you pay for it sooner or later).

Started binge reading this after the most recent episode only to find out that due to how it changed the order/skipped of things it is basically at the same point in the story. with the new residents alreayd being done in the anime while stuff like Hibiki gaining a transformation hasn't happened in the anime yet and in the anime Makoto already made progress on that thing about more effectively using mana.
Do feel like the way the manga does it flows much better and feels like things are part of a consistent narrative instead of just events that happen.

Thank you for taking the time to explain these to me!

1.When you were doing the 30 minutes of sleep 6 times a day routine, did you oversleep the 30 minutes time limit by not listening to the alarm due to exhaustion?

2.Does going to REM sleep once you close your eyes mean that you fell asleep quickly? Did you sleep quick due to exhaustion or due to the training?

3.You said you were sleeping for 2 hours from 4-6 AM, does that mean you slept for a continuous 2 hours with added naps during the day? Does that mean, for example, I can sleep for 6 hours at night and 3x30 minutes of naps during the day? I'll look more into the herbivore sleep pattern. It will be useful.

4.How did you become nocturnal when you slept at night? Were you becoming nocturnal a gradual process or did you not feel sleepy at night due to the naps throughout the day?

5. And when you say your mental state was fine, did you mean that you could easily remember from memory and do calculations? I ask this, because this is the most important part for me. When I don't sleep at night, the following day is like being in a dream. My thoughts become slower and I can't remember them later. Reactions became slower as well. Were you fine as you would be after a full night's rest when you did the routine? Were your mental state on the same level as another's after a full night's rest?

6.Did you gain weight and lose muscle mass when you did this routine?

Once again, I would like to thank you!

Thank you for answering my questions!
1. Were you not asleep due to exhaustion during your meditation because of your insomnia? Or were you able to stay awake during it? If so, how?

2. For how long did you sleep when you finally went to bed? Did you sleep for 8 hours or longer than that due to you not sleeping for 2 days?

3. It's fortunate that you were able to use your misfortune to your advantage. Are you still not able to sleep daily and continuing this routine?

4. You say the body will pay for it, what did you mean by that? Could you tell me adverse effects it had on your cognitive abilities, mental health and body health?

5. Did you lose muscle mass when you were unable to sleep or are you still able to gain muscle mass despite not being able to sleep daily?

I would like to thank you for giving your time for me!

1. No i was perfectly conscious and awake, how did i stayed awake at the time ? no idea but sincerely it might have been some weird chemical mix from all the medication i needed to take for other problems

2. I'd sleep for around 8-10 hours once i could fall asleep

3. I still have periods of insomnia (at most one or two weeks) or with difficulty sleeping but nothing as drastic, but since i cut a lot of stress of my life i've gotten a lot better.

5. I didn't have a lot of muscle mass to begin with but yes i looked like "skin and bones" for a while, before i started getting better

4. I meant to say that the human body can choose to actively ignore pain and others alerts but it won't erase the consequences, i can't pinpoint the actual ones i had due to insomnia since i had a lot on the plate at the time but to list a few of the shit i had to deal with : forceful drug abuse by my male gene donor, physical/psychological abuse, that one kind of assault you do when you're on the Epstein list (if you catch my drift), i also had to deal with severe agoraphobia, severe androphobia despite being male myself (it didn't help me when puberty struck and i was becoming the thing i feared and hated most in the world), and some other shit you wouldn't believe me for.

I got a lot better since then.

Good to see Toa (and Rinon too) again. She and her party has really come far now that they're the respected top dog adventurers in that part of the world (among the world's best, because IIRC the wastelands are just chock full of powerful enemies).

I've seen Hibiki and Mio's parting scene before because of the anime, but I don't mind seeing it again. Reading this chapter has given me more details that the anime didn't show, so this is still very much worth reading even when some scenes have been adapted. The information that Hibiki and her party also now has a number of strong adventurers as followers was new to me (or I just didn't remember).

I'm looking forward to seeing those prospective new residents to the demiplane. Should be fun.

Damn Shiki a realist, If you cannot afford to Sleep Just Don't, it probably won't have any Detrimental effects

Next chapter's raw is out, and it is disheartening to see that the anime has already surpassed it. The only solace is that the manga is the one worth watching.
