well, in the early chapters hobgoblin man did take bell away without killing her first, if she was food then wouldnt killing her right there be better? but he didnt so... gob gobs probably dont need to rape to procreate but still gets the craving for it if they wanted... i think it wouldnt be so outlandish of if monster rape is a thing in this world

Meh, nothing really about this story has suggested it so far and it’s probably better for it. Not that I’m scandalized by it, but it doesn’t really add to the story or lore in a meaningful way.
