@Nosebleed, is this actually completed with Volume 5 Chapter 50? Are the volume chapters different from the individual chapters then? (Those go to at least 54.)

Edit: As explained below, there's a spinoff, and on Comic Kingdom they just use continuous chapter numbering, whereas everywhere else it resets to 1 (probably a technical limitation). The main story is indeed completed with Volume 5 Chapter 50. Just a question of how they'll handle volumes for the spinoff. We can only wait and see.

from what I saw from the TL over on Reddit, the story is 50 chapters, and there's a spinoff from the story that continues and is included in the same ....I guess series of uploads? on the raws site, so it says "64 chapters" but it's a new, currently ongoing series lumped onto this one.

I feel like - unless the cheating friend is also a huge asshole and risked outing themselves to Mahoro with the note/baggy, then that means at least one of her friends is sleeping with her husband, and a second of her friends knows it's happening and isn't just straight up telling her.

At that point, what's stopping the "witness" from roping in the third friend--for gossip? as a collaborator? maybe the cheater ropes the 3rd friend in for group adultery? And then we have Mahoro's entire social circle of people she cares about screwing with her behind her back.

Basically, I suspect that before this is over, it'll turn out that all three of her friends are truly awful people (and I mean outside of the cheating, since we know that one actively dislikes her own husband, one is fine with cheating with married men, and the third.....well, Rio is an enigma at the moment), and of course her husband has been a consistent stain of a man since the the flashback about how he told her to quit her great job and then just shoved her into the housewife role and left her high and dry.

We'll have to see how they handle the volumes then. If they put this spinoff in a Volume 6, MD's current handling would still be wrong. (Tho how it currently is is fine until then.)

Yes it is.
Volume chapters are not different from individual chapters on the app, they both go up to 50.

Please note ganma chapter count is all messed up because any entry counts as a chapter, so extra .5 chapters, hiatus notices, premium chapters, etc. all add to the total number.
In this series' case, currently there are 50 main chapters, 10 spin-off chapters, and 4 premium chapters, hence the 64 total.

I will make a separate entry for the spin-off when I get there, as it has a different title and resets the chapter count.
The author just lumped it all in the same series entry on ganma, likely because she would lose all her bookmarks otherwise which sucks.

I mean, I could lump it all together on mangadex too, but I don't think you're supposed to do that when the two stories are clearly labeled differently, even if they're related.
