I really do hope the dragon isn't there to be an enemy. It's the guardian of Hugh Jack after all, and it's the last princess of Hugh Jack who inadvertently awakened it. It was probably confused and that's why it attacked the seemingly hostile concentration of armed men surrounding a light magic-wielding princess (Karina).

Slow and Silver are all the military can spare for now, but I feel they'll be enough unless the monsters also have unexpected reinforcements. Maldini was very reluctant about a lot of things this chapter, aside from showing up uninvited. I still don't think he's in the clear.
