It's wild Tierra is a veteran adventurer that served through the implementation of the "K Procedure" for bestowing classes, and later on saw firsthand the rise of this man's competence... and yet she doubts off the bat when yet another unique skill shows potential but isn't strong at low levels:question:

"Satellite map", that's quite a curious name for a skill in an RPG-styled world.
I suppose I could see people trying to rationalize such a name as being a reference to what the world might look like from the moon (a natural satellite, the only kind of satellite they'd have any concept of). Even then, I'm sure they'd find the choice of wording strange nonetheless, compared to something like "bird's eye".

But hey, who knows, maybe some madman somewhere's magicked their way into putting some magical artifact capable of photography and computation into stable orbit above their world. Or come up with the concept at the very least, even if unfeasible just yet.
consider that skill names themselves are created by the powers that be (presumably, but the names are revealed to their owners).
So whatever governs that world know of the concept of satellites. So maybe the author is actually god in this universe or smt

Actually though, the word for Satellite in Chinese/Japanese is just Orbiting Star (衛星). So it's probably just translated, could rationalize it as an astrology concept like you said.

If the actual skill name given is "Satellite map" in Katakana though (with little Description above)? Just some mumbo jumbo given by the god when they bestow skill, I'm sure the locals wouldn't care about the origin of the name.

Maybe it's a JoJo-esque thing where powerful/unusual skills are drawn to each other like Stand users, and after Claus' skill showed its' real worth they're intrigued/terrified by what his adoptive sister might have.

Look how they put people with useful skills to work, including Claus. Ultimately it's good business for them, they can put people to work in the best quests suited for them. They get more profits, guild work becomes safer for all adventurers indirectly, and so on. Basically....regular guild stuff. Nothing sinister.

I think this is just another case of the user underestimating the skill they own.
Since technically anything and everything can have traits of food ingredients such as "taste".

For example Area "dragon's nest" number and location of ingredient "*", taste "whatever a dragon tastes like", weak point "insert weak point here".

It's her job as a scout/recon and evaluator to be prudent and analyze the situation before reporting.

Imagine if for example, she had been sent to analyze the situation on some monster reports and after a few days she came back and said "oh nothing much to report, just a small nest of goblins on a small nest", "inside? nah i didn't have to go inside, I watched from the outside and there was not much activity". Only for it to be proven to be a huge nest that will become a problem.

So all she did was not jump the gun and declare Liz's skill a divine one, and rightfully so, because she lacked all the information needed.

ANALYZING WEAKNESS?
AND THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE LEVEL 1?

THE HELL!?
Well, at least she has to be "capped" for extended use.

Quest Marker for food is either just the level 1 or just little sis do not understand the power?

Yep, just a food focused skill. That happens to have literally all three aspects of the legendary skills wrapped into one. She's as busted as her adoptive brother.
i mean combat/adventuring aside, having an S rank "cooking skill" would be a lot of ppl's dream come true as well lol

i fear as long as Claus' auto skill doesn't let him stay concious, he'll be hard to deal with for any party member including his sister. so far Liz could obtain Items by searching for them, but without any guarantuee to actually obtain them, while Claus is able to obtain them with disregard to his surroundings.

Having good tools is good and all, but it's how you use them that truly makes the difference when it comes to stuff like this. It's seems like it's only limited to food, but that's because that's what she puts importance on. It's like how the auto skill wouldn't be all that great in the hands of someone less creative or more risk-adverse than our MC. It's only busted because this guy doesn't give much thought to how many times he's almost gotten killed because of it.

Probably the latter, given she's a bit of a scatterbrain about her personal subjects and inherently not an adventurer by nature. There's no stickler here that it's literally all about food, she's just christened with "Quest Marker", ie, it's presumably the ability to quite literally designate any and everything with "quest related details", which in this case seems to locally map, precisely locate, and even outright diagnose extensive information as necessary to the quest.

And to her, quests are food because she simply doesn't think outside the box about what that actually means yet.

Merim can acknowledge bad things. Liz can find bad things. Claus can guarantee a win against bad things. Charlotte can be the cute mascot. Tierra can be the lewd mascot.

THE DREAM TEAM IS (almost) FORMED
Thanks for the nice chuckle before bed. Time to wait for the next chapter

I mean, it clearly isn't just limited to food when she says it is about "child level errands" (at the current level). Just that food is one of those.
